Mount Elbert (14,440 ft) – The highest peak in Colorado, first climbed in 1874 by Henry W. Stuckle.

Mount Massive (14,428 ft) – First recorded ascent in 1873 by Surveyor Frank Carpenter.

Mount Harvard (14,421 ft) – Named by Harvard University students, first climbed in 1869.

Blanca Peak (14,351 ft) – First ascent recorded in 1911 by D. W. Brunton.

La Plata Peak (14,343 ft) – First climbed in 1873 by William Brewer.

Uncompahgre Peak (14,321 ft) – First ascent recorded in 1874 by San Juan Surveyors.

Crestone Peak (14,300 ft) – First climbed in 1916 by Albert Ellingwood.

Mount Lincoln (14,293 ft) – First recorded ascent in 1861 by William Byers.

Crestone Needle (14,203 ft) – First climbed in 1916 by Albert Ellingwood and Eleanor Davis, marking one of the last 14ers to be summited.

Little Bear Peak (14,035 ft) – Another challenging peak first ascended by Albert Ellingwood.

Kit Carson Peak (14,170 ft) – First climbed by Ellingwood, during the Crestone Needle expedition.

Pikes Peak (14,115 ft) – First recorded ascent in 1806 by Zebulon Pike, though he did not reach the summit.

Wetterhorn Peak (14,021) - The first recorded ascent of Colorado's Wetterhorn was made in 1906 by George Barnard, C. Smedley, W. P. Smedley, and D. Utter, but a previous ascent by miners working in the area in the 19th century is likely.
